Pioneering Innovation in Ammunition Manufacturing

HISTORIC FACILITY

First Breach’s manufacturing facility is housed in what was once a fabrication plant for the Fairchild Engine & Aircraft Corporation in Hagerstown, Maryland. The history of the building and its roots in American manufacturing align perfectly with the values and mission of First Breach, further instilling and inspiring a sense of patriotism within the company. The facility’s history is rich with American ingenuity and wartime resilience. Construction of the Fairchild Engine & Aircraft Corporation facility at the Hagerstown Airport began in early 1941 with the fabrication of Plant 2. With the United States’ entry into the Second World War in December of that same year, demand for Fairchild aircraft increased exponentially. In 1943, several additional assembly bays were constructed, and an all-wooden, curved-roof hangar was used for flight testing of all aircraft before delivery. The most significant addition to the facility began in late 1944 and continued through early 1945, with the construction of a large final assembly bay, sub-assembly areas and additional flight test hangar space. Although construction of the Fairchild facility ended in the early 1960s, the plant would produce its most well-known and long-lasting product: the Fairchild-Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II. Affectionately known as the “Warthog”, it remains an active aircraft in the US Air Force, celebrated as the most remarkable close-air support aircraft ever made. The Hagerstown Aviation Museum, which is located nearby, preserves this history as home to the world’s most extensive collection of Fairchild aircraft and memorabilia.

COMPREHENSIVE IN-HOUSE CAPABILITIES

The First Breach facility features over 75,000 square feet of newly renovated space with an additional adjacent 116,000 square feet available for expansion, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence and growth. The facility is equipped with state- of-the-art equipment and meticulously designed processes, enabling First Breach to maintain stringent quality control. First Breach’s operational prowess is defined by its extensive in-house production capabilities, which set it apart in the ammunition manufacturing industry. The company fully controls its production process, from the initial smelting of lead to the precise manufacturing of projectiles and casings. This complete oversight ensures the highest standards of quality and reliability for its products. Central to First Breach’s manufacturing strength is its dedicated CNC shop, which is equipped with advanced Haas and Sodick machines. These tools are crucial for creating specialized equipment and parts used in its production lines. This capability is not just about maintaining equipment, it’s also about innovating and crafting tools that meet specific production needs, allowing for much greater precision and efficiency of the products being made. The company’s commitment to self- sufficiency extends to the creation of its own tools and components. By manufacturing these in-house, First Breach can swiftly adapt and respond to production demands or changes in design specifications, further enhancing its market agility. To bolster its market position and meet growing demand, First Breach is actively expanding its capabilities. This includes adding new presses and optimizing existing lines to increase output. Such strategic investments in its infrastructure not only highlight a commitment to growth but also to innovation. These enhancements are designed to streamline production processes and increase the efficiency and throughput of its operations, ensuring First Breach remains at the forefront of the ammunition industry.

FOCUS ON GLOBAL EXPANSION

While First Breach has established a strong presence in the domestic market, the company is actively pursuing international expansion opportunities. The goal is to expand globally, particularly with European governments. These strategic partnerships are crucial for First Breach to extend its reach and establish itself as a trusted supplier in the global market. In addition to government partnerships, First Breach is targeting the civilian and law enforcement markets. The company has already secured contracts with several law enforcement agencies in the United States. These collaborations reflect First Breach’s ability to deliver high-quality products tailored to the specific needs of its clients. First Breach is at the forefront of innovation in ammunition manufacturing, driven by a strategic vision for growth and a commitment to excellence. Under Jeffrey and Jordan Low’s leadership, the company is expanding its operations, forging new partnerships, and enhancing production capabilities to navigate the complexities of the global arms market. First Breach aims to become a significant player in the industry. The future looks promising as the company continues to innovate its manufacturing processes and expand its reach. By building a legacy of trust and reliability, First Breach is set to make a lasting impact on the industry.
